How You Can Connect
At SPI, one of the things we do best is
connect the resources to those with the need. In that way, many are involved even though only a few can go. SPI puts together trips including people from various parts of the country.
These trips have been highly successful in building relationships among the
team members as well as those they serve.
Several opportunities are available for you to connect with SPI.
We have many open doors to welcome all those interested in becoming involved
with meeting the needs of the poor.
- We plan mission trips for about 12-15 people. We do all the planning
- airline flights, food, lodging, the job that will be accomplished,
and even the leisure time. We also plan a time of worship for each
group.
- Group leaders just need to make sure all the information needed for
plane flights and the deposits and final payments are supplied on time.
We can plan trips for youth groups, adult church groups, and college
groups. Each trip needs skilled workers, helpers, cooks, and those to
clean-up the job site and tool trailer. If you have a willing heart, you
will be a valuable teammate.
There are still other ways to connect even if you cannot go on the mission trips.
-
Many individuals would like to go on a trip, but lack the
finances. Some churches do not have the finances, but have the people to
send. Either way, you can connect by supplying a partial or full
scholarship for them.
-
Churches who do not have the people, but have the finances
can give so another church can send their people.
Contact SPI with the way you would like to be involved, or
perhaps to share a new idea of involvement. We would love to connect you so you
can help us starve poverty to death.
