Several programs in the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office work with food-insecure families. This service will provide gift cards for fast food, which the county employees will use to meet kids’ emergency food needs AND build relationships with them. We are launching this program in 2024 in collaboration with the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department’s work with at-risk children. We will be appealing to restaurant owners as well as Starve Poverty contributors to help make this program a success.
