Starve Poverty on a recent mission trip to Exuma stepped out in faith and provided a new well for an 80 year old grandmother, Hazel, raising a 30 year old deaf and blind grandson. We found out she has not had running water for over a year. As a result of God speaking to our hearts she can use her bathroom and wash pots and pans. We are asking if God leads you, would you pray about partnering with us in a onetime gift to help defray the cost ? “You Can Make a Difference”
School Supplies Need to be Shipped by Mid-July
Each year SP collects donations, shops for elementary and high school supplies and then drives them to Florida to be put on a ship so that they arrive for the start of the school year which is in early August. Our goal is to send all the pens, pencils, notebooks, rulers, protractors, erasers, crayons, markers and backpacks that one hundred and twenty five children need to begin the school year equipped and eager to learn. This will cost about $5000.00 including transportation and shipping. We will be able to get a duty waiver in Exuma to avoid paying extra fees. Donations of any amount are welcome. Remember – “You can make a difference” and together we can change the world!!
